Meet the Team

Our PTFA Committee is made up of:

Co-Chairs: Sarah Yiasoumi and Lorna Gillam

Hi, My name is Sarah Yiasoumi and I have lived in Chafford Hundred for 14 years. I am a full time Mum to two girls, my eldest is in Year 1 and my youngest who is 2 and a half.

Along with the other members of the PTFA I did not want the PTFA to fold as I feel it is an important resource for the children and the school.

We took on this role during the height of covid, so has been an interesting journey, we have been lucky to hold a few events due to restrictions, however we look forward to holding more events for the children as restrictions are lifted.

My name is Lorna Gillam and I am Mum to two beautiful daughters. My eldest is currently in year 1 and is Deaf, and my youngest who is 2 years old. When we looked around when choosing our first choice school, it was clear how much the school has benefited from the work of the PTFA, so when the outgoing committee decided to step down I didn’t want to let all their hard work end. I also wanted to make sure that the children continued to have the fun events and activities that the PTFA could provide, to balance their learning with fun.

Professionally, I have worked as a project manager in recruitment since graduating but since taking up the role of Co-chair I have been appointed as the Support Manager at the School.

Treasurer: Adeline Fulugunya

My name is Adeline Fulugunya. I am a mother of two beautiful children, my daughter who is in year 4 and my son who is at nursery hopefully he will also join Warren next September. Professionally, I am a lead PMO. I have spent the last 11 years looking after project budgets and delivery. Before this I was at university where I majored in Accountancy and Business. I am currently the Treasurer of a network at work where I manage the expenses and budget and I have enjoyed my role for the last 2 years. The network looks at projects and initiatives to bring a more diverse workforce into the insurance Industry.

I hope to bring my experience and expertise to the PTFA as a Treasurer which I'm honoured to have been voted for.  I look forward to working with the PTFA family and Warren Primary as a whole.

Secretary: Amy Wells

Hi, my name is Amy Wells and I am an Executive Analyst. I am Mum to two beautiful children, my son is 5 years old and attends Warren Primary and is in Year 1, and my daughter who is 2.5 years old. I applied to take on the Secretary Role on the PTFA as I felt it was important for the children to have something to look forward to after working so hard in school and hoped that was something myself and the other PTFA members could put together. We managed to raise a few great events last year considering we were still in and out of a pandemic and are hoping to hold lots more events this year. I am really enjoying the role and pleased that I took the plunged and applied for it.
